By way of information, as Seller's attorney we typically provide the following services to our clients:

Preparing or reviewing the real estate contract
Procurement of the Title Insurance Commitment
Procurement of survey, if required
Clearing title exceptions for closing
Preparation of necessary documents for closing
Procurement of Mortgage Payoff Letter
Purchase and obtain local revenue stamps (if the property is located in Chicago, we will also obtain the water and zoning certifications)
Coordinate date, time and location for closing
Attend and finalize all matters at closing

As Purchaser's attorney we typically provide the following services:

Inspection of survey for defects
Review of Title Commitment for unacceptable objections
